ABOUT: The Fruitful App belongs to the Diocese of Blackburn - the Church of England in Lancashire. It is funded by the Blackburn Diocesan Board of Finance Ltd from the 'Making Disciples' budget.
RESOURCES: Some resources on this App are brand new and bespoke and have been created specifically for the App. Some parts of the App are links to external resources which we think are great for you know about and have easy access to. New resources are constantly being developed and will be added as and when they are ready.
VISION: Jesus calls us to bear fruit - think John 15. He is the vine, his Father is the gardener, we are the branches. And what are we to do? We are to grow, to bear fruit; to be fruitful. The vision for the Fruitful App comes out of the 'making disciples of Jesus Christ' strand of the Diocese of Blackburn's Vision 2026:
* Knowing the Scriptures better through reading, teaching, preaching and study
* Praying with greater depth and urgency for the Kingdom of God to come
* Worshipping in spirit and truth
* Giving generously of our time, talents and money to the cause of Christ
